My name is Christine Paglia Baker, and I am the Essential Skills Teacher for Grades 4-6 at Leverett Elementary School. I have taught at LES since the fall of 2011. In addition to teaching Essential Skills, I have also I taught fourth and fifth grade at LES. 

I began my education career in 2001, teaching visitors of all ages at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art in Brunswick, Maine. I went on to work in museum education at the Williams College Museum of Art and the Yale University Art Gallery. I received my Master’s degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2010, my Master’s degree in Art History from Williams College in 2005, and my bachelor’s degree in Art History and Spanish from Bowdoin College in 2000. 

I continue to bring my background in art to my teaching at LES. In my free time, I enjoy writing, making art, getting outdoors, and spending time with my two young children.
